BOOKING THE RIGHT TICKET
For train travel from anywhere, securing a First AC ticket is crucial. Whether you're with a companion or solo, find out why a coupe or coach reservation, as the case may be, is essential for a seamless journey.
SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
Prior to your journey, make a visit to the Railway head office; for instance, if you're departing from Delhi, head to Baroda House a day in advance.
Submit an application at the office, along with copies of your train ticket, valid ID proof, your pet's vaccine card, any available adoption certificate, & a fit-to-travel certificate.
Head to the Emergency Drop Box to deposit your application.
Receive an SMS the next day confirming your coupe or coach allocation.
BOOKING YOUR PET'S TICKET
On the day of your journey, go to the Parcel office of the Railway Station.
Complete the designated form. Upon payment of the Booking Fee, you will receive the ticket for your pet.
SOLO TRAVELER CONSIDERATIONS
If you are traveling solo, secure your pet's ticket by obtaining a No Objection Certificate from your co-passenger, as the pet's ticket will only be issued under this condition.
